Dry and mild conditions will continue tonight and Wednesday, with temperatures 10 to 17 degrees above normal.
Low pressure will be moving closer to northern and central Nevada for the upcoming weekend. This will help to increase the winds across the area with locations in central Nevada seeing wind gusts to 45 mph. It will remain breezy to windy on Sunday but winds won’t be as strong.
Near record warmth is expected across Northern and Central Nevada each afternoon Wednesday through Friday. This will accelerate the process of snowmelt and enhance runoff into area creeks and rivers.
