Warmer temperatures are approaching fast, so it's a perfect time to practice heat safety! Always make sure to take the precautions to protect yourself and others from the heat, especially since it has been a long time since temperatures have risen this high.
A rapid warm-up continues heading into the middle and end of this week, outside of a brief dip across eastern NM on Thursday. Temperatures will warm up above average on Tuesday with well above average and record temperatures likely by Friday and Saturday!
Mild tonight with overnight low temperatures above average. Breezy evening across portions of eastern NM.
The shading in this chart shows the range of forecast temperatures for the Albuquerque International Sunport Wednesday through Sunday. The solid line represents the most likely temperature. There is a better than 50% chance of hitting 80F Wednesday through Friday. On Saturday, there is approximately a 25% chance of reaching 90F at the Sunport! Locations in the valley would have a higher chance of reaching 90.
